ቡላ | Bulla Flour | Enset Powder 1kg

Bula ቡላ is made of tuber of ensat or false banana tree, a plant native to Ethiopia only. It is prepared by scraping the ensat plant into a pulp, squeezing into a tick white juice. The juice is then condensed and sun dried to create bulla. 

Bulla is packed with nutrients such as amino acids, protein along with fibers and sugars. False banana tree parts are well known to be rich in minerals like phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron. 

Uses of Bulla:

• It is used to prepare a hot thick drinkable meal or Genfo with honey and milk.
• It is used in baked flatbread, Kotcho.
  
• It is used in porridge, dumplings, pancakes.
• It is also used in beverages.
• It is also used with seasoned butter and spices.
• This meal is generally served with supplement proteins like meat and cheese to supplement proteins.
